I have adapted this from my own notes. It probably falls short! Any improvements that you could suggest would be gladly received. You know the email address! Des

Please please be careful, the roads can be busy. The quieter ones can be even worse. Despite calming measures there are some terrible drivers around. They are minority but there only takes one! One or two volunteers to be the whippers in, on walks, would be appreciated. The job comes comes with the use of the whistle and a clipboard. On the clipboard will be an attendance list please make sure your name is on it. If you need to leave please let whoever has the clipboard know that you are going.

My first aid certificate ran out approximately 25 years ago. I do carry a small first date kit for my own use. You are welcome to use but it is at your own risk., in case of emergency.

If you need to contact one of the leaders please use walksndtalks WhatsApp's phone facility to contact us. It would also be helpful if you could for future walks make sure your phones ICE and medical information is up to date. There is an newsletter item on how to do this.

To date no one has objected to people taking photographs. They are used for the website, newsletters etc etc.. There is always a reason that hasn't thought about. In other contexts it's usually being something that's better left private. Even if it's just you don't take a good photo let the leader you don't have to give a reason.

In short you are adults and deserve to be treated as such. If you are going to do something stupid its at your own risk!
