The next local interest walk is on Friday 10th April ( the second Friday of the month to avoid Good Friday) . Meet 10.30 at Lime St station by the Ken and Betty statues. There are three key venues on this walk. The first is a fine example of inter war social housing. The next is an interesting exhibition focussing on the work of black musicians in the 50s and 60s from Toxteth, 'The Harlem of Europe'. The third venue is a visit and guided tour of the Spine (aka the Giraffe), said to be one of the healthiest workplaces for mental and physical well being in Europe. A wonderful building with a great cafe for our break (card only). Please let me know if you are coming (please provide me with your first and last name) as I have to send a register of attendees a few days beforehand. It is an amazing place. I do hope you can come along. Margie Swann
