The Mystery tour on the AFTERNOON of Wednesday 17 June, departing 1300 hrs from the West Derby village

following our top-secret route to an historic location. After a stay of nearly two hours – there is a café and several attractions – we set off back to the Village, arriving at 5 pm. Seats cost just £7 each.

A day trip is on Saturday 4 July to Conwy and Bodnant Gardens.

We leave West Derby Village at 9.30 am and travel via the Kingsway Tunnel to Queensferry. There’s a 30-minute comfort stop at Kinmel Park Services, before continuing on our way. We arrive at Conwy 11.45 am.

Some of you may wish to spend the day in Conwy so we will stop for only about five minutes to drop you off by the castle. There’s lots of other things to see, including the Smallest House in Britain, or just sitting on the sea front.

We then continue on the short 15-minute journey to Bodnant Gardens, the famous National Trust (NT) property in a beautiful location. There is an admission charge. Admission is free to NT and Royal Horticultural Society members. For those not wanting to go into the gardens there is a café and visitor centre. There is also spacious, accessible land around the car parks for those wanting to take a picnic.

We leave Bodnant at 3.25 pm after a stay of more than three hours. We return to Conwy, arriving at 3.40 pm to collect those who stayed.

We return along the same coast road route, again stopping at Kinmel Park,

before arriving West Derby Village at 6 pm. Seats £15 each.
