I have been asked how someone can find out about GDHS meetings. I will try to keep it up to date! I will do the same for similar societies or meetings. As long as they are within our remit, even loosely.
Meetings are normally on the first Wednesday of the month. The doors open at 7 pm with the speaker at 7.30 pm. It meets in St. Mary's Church Hall, Cressington (near the Aldi)
2 September - The speaker will be Jean McEvoy on the subject of Murder, Mystery and Mayhem.
7 October - A talk by Tony Banks, a volunteer with the RNLI. There will be a collection as the RNLI don't charge a fee. Please remember to bring some cash with you.
4 November - A quiz, of which more nearer the date.
December - Our Christmas lunch, again more nearer the date.
January - NO MEETING
3 February Speke Hall, again more nearer the date. The meeting will be an afternoon one
