The August meeting went a long way to spreading the load. There is still a couple of meetings that need to be organised and if somebody would like to have a go they would be more than welcome.
We also need somebody to be our point of contact for the Heritage Plaques Project of the Merseyside Civic Society. Which I don't mind continuing to do, if somebody else would like to have a go please let me know.
Finally there's the website to look after. Bill has come forward and seems to have someone understanding of what needs to be done or at least how to go about it than I do. So things are beginning to move on the right direction. Volunteers to edit one or more of the sections, particularly the pictures one which I'm getting more and more frustrated with. So somebody knows what they're doing would be great.
I would see these people forming a very loose editorial board. Basically a backup procedure should they feel that something is unsuitable putting on the site. It would be nothing too demanding, hopefully nothing at all.
