Jane (the Merseyside Civic Trust) coordinator has managed to obtain the attached list of heritage plaques in the Liverpool City Region (LCR), as recorded on the openplaques website. "It has taken some time to obtain this from the openplaques administrator; it appears that the platform is going through a period of necessary updating.
In addition to attempts to pull together a full list of heritage plaques in the LCR, I am also collating a record of missing/damaged/at risk heritage plaques. Please let me know if you are aware of any plaques that fall into this category.
More positively, I have mooted the idea of putting together a heritage plaque trail linked to the Rocket 2030 anniversary. I have identified existing plaques that could possibly fit into such a trail but would be grateful if you could share any ideas you have about heritage plaques that could help tell the story of this important development in our local history. I am primarily thinking about existing plaques but new plaques may also be a possibility."
